Ten Indications of New Homeowner-itis

  1. I wasn’t an HGTV or any kind of Foodie kinda guy, at all, and now I am obsessed with both.
  2. Any home improvement section is now a temptation for impulse buying. I never, ever, thought buying mulch would be an “impulse buy” but… I nearly came home with three bags and no idea why (yet).
  3. I can now chase Dan around in the clothing optional backyard of the Dandy Ranch and not get in trouble. They didn’t like that at the condo.
  4. I judge people who have left the popcorn ceilings in their home. I don’t want to judge them but after removing Satan’s evil toe-fungus (ceiling popcorn) from our house… I can’t help it. Get rid of it folks.
  5. Wondering if that odd sound is normal, a I wasn’t an HGTV or any kind of Foodie kinda guy, at all, and now I am obsessed with both.raccoon, or a ghost?
  6. Realizing you don’t have to be a hipster, or a gamer, to be obsessed with smart light bulbs.
  7. Going from the dogs are NOT getting on the furniture to the dogs OWN the furniture and you will be lucky if they let you on the couch … lightning quick.
  8. Going from what kind of neighbor parks a pontoon boat, a humongous pontoon boat at that, in their front yard? To, WTF, it’s still there… does someone live in it? To, I wonder if that is where the ghost goes during the day time?
  9. Soundbars RULE!
  10. And finally, sitting on the couch typing out this silly list with love brimming over for my little family in our first family home, not rented, but ours. ❤
